Composite Extrusion Modeling Ontology (CEMAO) is an ODE_AM application ontology for composite-extrusion-modeling process knowledge in metal additive-manufacturing contexts. It is built on BFO and CCO and introduces CEM-specific process, machine, and parameter terms so manufacturing data can be represented consistently and integrated with related ODE_AM modules.

Notes
It uses Basic Formal Ontology as Top- and Common Core Ontologies as Mid-Level-Ontologies., This ontology, designed for use in data management for metal additive manufacturing with focus on Composite Extrusion Modeling (CEM). The ontology only included classes in the scope of project ODE_AM. It primarily integrates existing classes from the Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) and the Common Core Ontologies (CCO), selectively chosen to fit the considered use cases in our project. This focused approach ensures efficient and relevant data categorization and retrieval tailored to our specific project requirements.
